Worry and Doubt? I think not.

Have you ever worried, and doubted God, when you know He’s right there and He has always been right there? He’s always throwing me signs to remind me of His presence. My flesh wants to go into panic mode at the state of the world we’re currently living in. I was doing dishes one day, thinking deeply about wars, worrying. God said, “look up!” I looked up and out the window. There was a cross lit up, in what I’m gonna call the “sonshine”. Today, I found myself reading the news. Knowing I shouldn’t. Y’all know what’s going on in the world. Why would anyone want to read it? Ha. Anyway, flesh went straight to panic. I know better than to let my flesh be boss! I feel horrible when I do, like I’m doubting God and His word. I started praying over and throughout our home and over beds (I’ve been having very unsettling dreams about things associated with war). After praying, I opened my Bible and Isaiah 32:18-20 was right there. Even when the flesh is worrying and doubting, God will still be right there! Like, duh, Alinda! I haven’t left you and I’m not going to!!

Protecting and comforting. And always loving me.
Praise God for continuing to hold my HANDS!

“My people will live in safety, quietly at home. They will be at rest. Even if the forest should be destroyed and the city torn down, the Lord will greatly bless his people. Wherever they plant seed, bountiful crops will spring up. Their cattle and donkeys will graze freely.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭32‬:‭18‬-‭20‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.”
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭31‬:‭6‬ ‭NLT‬‬
